Mr. Van Dijk, a passenger on one of the Spain flights, came into the Europe Airlines office and complained about one of the stewardesses who repeatedly ignored him when he pressed the button over head. The girls were talking amongst themselves and paid no attention to the passengers. Amelia was the stewardess on that flight so she was called. As a punishment and extra humiliation, Mr. Johnson asked Mr. Van Dijk to take off his belt and Mr. Johnson bent Amelia over his desk and gave her a sound thrashing with it. Amelia Jane Rutherford SD
