Faerie Willow – A Delightful Blend of Old-fashioned Infractions and Modern Curiosity
Mater Familias
Pandora Blake, Faerie Willow and Clara Hewitt co-star in this delightful film where traditional punishments meet modern curiosity and not even a cheese sandwich is always what it seems. When Debbie spends the night sleeping over with her best friend, she learns an unexpected family secret: in their house, Harriet still gets old-fashioned Enid Blyton style spankings to settle her teenage infractions. Curious Debbie is secretly delighted when her friend’s mother gives her the opportunity to witness this anachronistic event firsthand. So delighted, in fact, that she insists – rather forcefully – on shouldering some of the blame herself! Mrs. Harkham, taken aback by the girl’s eagerness, decides to find a way to make this punishment truly punishing. Has Debbie bitten off more than she can chew?
