Taking dictation is an important duty of any secretary and at the Whippingsham College the method of teaching dictation is quite unique but effective. Clover and Leandra learned that the hard way. The girls were told to dictate a letter and print it. They then had to bare their bottoms and bend over the desk looking at the teacher finding any mistakes. Every mistake earned them two hard whacks with his leather paddle. They both made quite a few mistakes so they were also given a lenghty cornertime. Clover Leandra SD
